How to set the maximum message length in QMgr in websphere MQ

Thanks roger.
If i set the max msg length in qmgr, will it affect all other qmgrs. Will the max msg length set at queue level supercede the max msg length set in qmgr.
please clarify.

And, if you are going to be client connecting, check out your channels while looking at the MQSC manual. |

Remember to set MAXMSGL for the transmisison queue as well if the msg is going to be sent down a channel. |
