How to set the maximum message length in QMgr in websphere MQ

Thanks roger.
If i set the max msg length in qmgr, will it affect all other qmgrs. Will the max msg length set at queue level supercede the max msg length set in qmgr.
please clarify.

Read up on this in the Application Programming Reference Manual, and MQSC manual.

There is also a max message length parameter on channels also.

| Remember to set MAXMSGL for the transmisison queue as well if the msg is going to be sent down a channel. |
