Hi,

I have solid experience(3 years) of MQSeries with J2EE. But, I never got a opportunity to work on MQ Workflow. I just need to know one thing. What are all the software requires to run the workflow. Just list the software and link if possible.

*** I have downloaded some docs from IBM site and going through it.

These are the bare minimum
DB2
MQ
WorkFlow

Instead of DB2 you can also use Oracle
But you will also need an Appserver like WAS

Hope this helps to get started. But the above doc has much more information.

The info provided was vennela was what I was looking for. MQ and DB2 software I have. But, where I can get Workflow. Is this free download, any link would be of great help ....

Workflow is not a free download. Also there is no trial code on IBM site.

Will Workflow going to be replaced ??? Somehow I hit this page and read this

Hi,

Can anyone help me tell the difference between the WebsphereMQ Workflow and the Process Choreographer. Does the choreographer provide same services as Workflow. Also I heard that WebsphereMQ Workflow would soon be gone. What would it be replaced with.."Websphere Business Integration Workbench"..?

[personal opinion]If you need industrial strength workflow today, you need MQWorkflow. There is no doubt that down the road WPC will be IBMs workflow engine of choice, but it is still young.[/personal opinion]
