Apologies for the long post but I suspect those of you willing to help me will ask for this data.
I get this error:

AMQ6125: An internal MQSeries error has occurred.
EXPLANATION:
An internal error has occurred with identifier 0. This message is issued in
association with other messages.
ACTION:
Use the standard facilities supplied with your system to record the problem
identifier, and to save the generated output files. Contact your IBM support
center. Do not discard these files until the problem has been resolved.

Thanks Michael, great tip. Looking for that probe id turned up the problem of having multple copies of MQM.dll on the server. I looked and there are three copies of that file. I have them in the following directories:
D:\MQSeries521\bin\mqm.dll this is the most recent one
D:\MQSeries521\bin\CSD05\mqm.dll
D:\MQSeries521\bin\CSD07\mqm.dll
The recommendation is deleting the older ones. They apparently cause a conflict since all of them are in the file path. I will try that out and see what happens. |

I dont think that will help - the ones in the D:\MQSeries521\bin\CSD?? directories are backups of the versions that were there before the fixpack install, and hence are never referenced on a normal system
The problem with duplicate libraries is when they are on the path (eg. some people have been known to have copies in windows\system32(!!))
As to the problem - really horrible... Sorry! 
Does this stop the qmgr, or just leave something flagged as damaged? Is this the only fdc?
Not much I can really offer in way of advice, unfortunately. |

Thanks Jason, I appreciate your input. This is the only FDC I see. It doesn't appear to affect the running of MQ but I have error log monitors that report this and thus get heat from operations and management to figure out what's wrong. |
