Hi All ,
I am facing an issue while doing a migration of ZVMFull repo QM to x86 server.
Here we have zos qm as one of the partial repo and when we try to start the new cluster sender channel its throwing this AMQ4057 - error ,
" Configuration error. A configuration
error was detected in the channel
definition or communication subsystem;
allocation of a conversation was not
possible"
Tried telnet in both ways its working .
This ZOS MQ is in mq 7.5 and Full repo is in 9.1.0.4 will there be any compatibility issue?
Thanks in advance,

Please post the channel definition here.
Examine the ERRORS directory AMQERR01.LOG file for nearby related errors. Please post them here. I’d guess that some TCP error occurred. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

AMQ4057 is an MQ Explorer error - could you find the channel error in the z/OS MQ CHIN address space and show it to us (assuming that this sender is on the z/OS queue manager?) Alternatively, if it is on a distributed queue manager, find the channel error in the queue manager AMQERR01.LOG file.

No problems with compatibility between these versions.

Thanks for your replies.
Yes it is a Zos qm.
We were shared with below error log
CSQX203E -Qmname CSQXRCTL Error in communications configuration,
channel TO.QMName,
connection
TRPTYPE=TCP RC=00000000 reason=00000000
CSQ9023E -Xxxxx CSQXCRPS ' START CHANNEL' ABNORMAL COMPLETION
******** End of list ********
not sure this is what you asked.
* I have removed the actual qm names form the above log.
Thanks,
