Hi ,
I am trying to download the APAR IT27359 for MQ 8.0.0.11 version on AIX
i see the file with .scrypt3 extension , i dont see the .tar or .tar.gz file
Is the .scrypt3 file correct one to install?
Please advise |

No, .scrypt3 files are for the MQ Appliance. |

Hi Bruce,
The download did not fail , it downloaded a .scrypt3 file instead of tar file
I download from the link you have mentioned and the installations steps says "Installing a new level of firmware" , i have not installed it yet
I am looking for a tar file for the MQ 8..0.0.11 with APAR IT27359 |

| Thanks all,My understanding is that this APAR is for MQ appliance and not for the regular MQ software. |

Yes, a quick google search for the APAR number would tell you this, and provide you with all kinds of details, including installation.
