Hi,
We are working on one RFP and insight is given below.
RFP Insight:Our use case has one Publisher and two subscribers.Publisher and Subscribers includes Data Loading, Data Validation,Transformation,Logging and Error Handling logic.
Message flow is 10 lakh message per hour.
1.Approach 1:Pub/Sub pattern using MB & MQ as part of ESB
2.Approach 2:Pub/Sub Pattern using Message Driven Beans for Subscribers and Publisher(J2EE Application) and host on Websphere..
We know that both the apporaches will be able to do the job.But which is the best way to do it and optimised one interms of performanace and Scalability. |

A number of posters who post here are happy to provide you with their rates for consulting fees.
You're really asking for consulting services.
I would say that option 1 is always best, becuase I always prefer to use Broker for everything.
That doesn't mean that your definition of "best" is the same as mine.
Consider as well, if you are unable to answer this question yourself and write this RFP yourself without extra external help, and your company wins the bid, are you going to be able to deliver the solution yourself without external help?
The answer is, both are best in terms of performance and scalability. |
