Some time back, the application was running with MQ v6.0.2.4 and oracle 10g. Recently, there has been a migration to MQ v7.0.1.9 and Oracle 11g.
The application code is still the same that used to work with the previous MQ and oracle configuration.
Now since a few days, the developers are complaining about the low performance of the server.
Is MQ to blame? Where else should I look to get to the root of the problem as far as MQ is concerned? |

Did you plan for this? Did you re-provision the hardware to take on the larger server software? What else changed? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

Yes.. This was a planned activity. The hardware has aslo been upgraded. The DBAs have ruled out any problems with the database. |

If you are using Solaris zones make sure your MQ system has not been allocated a slow disk. _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
