It probably will work. Well as long as the JAR files needed are pretty self contained.
If not then you may have to route via an ApplicationServer (eg WAS, JBOSS etc).
IF you do go down this route, the advice given here and at the end of here
would be worth following. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

I have come to know that CA SiteMinder will provide webservices to other third parties for communication. The service supports all the SiteMinder authentication schemes and custom authentication schemes. When a request is successful, the service returns a SiteMinder Session for that user.
So, is there any standard approach available that will help WMB to cache session information and further session validation for subsequent requests ? |

There are a number of different approaches you can use to cache this information.
Some would suggest a Java Singleton.
Others would put it on a Queue for browsing
Others would use ESQL Shared variables.
Some might even suggest a Database (eg SolidDb)
Take your pick. They all have their own advantages and disadvantages.
The best fit will depend upon your exact requirement and only you know those. Besides, we are not here to do your job for you. If you want me to do that then my rate is a very cheap, £450.00 a day (plus tax & expenses).
Do some experimantation and make your own mind up. _________________ WMQ User since 1999
