we have triggered queues on a development box, which i need to recreat, on the other box, but the queues are triggered is there any way that I can find out the definition of the triggers,
I tried searching the web but didn't find anything,
and saveqmgr is not allowed to be used,
in processdefinition folder there is only one file, but its a system defined file. |

The DISPLAY command in the InfoCenter didn't show up then?

Well it would be; all queue manager controlled objects are.

Could be up for a Darwin award though! _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

And a painful way if your ability to find things doesn't improve.

No, there are not. The folder's name should have been a bit of a giveaway really.
You should make more of an effort to read posts in this form and the InfoCenter.

Go to google. Search for WMQ+trigger. The first hit should answer your question.

a) Looking in the queue manager's file system for things. We've covered this before when you were grubbing round in the listener configuration looking for channels
b) Being really, really literal. Having tripped over the display process command, what's wrong with DISPLAY PROCESS(*)?
c) Not properly researching things. Why look for processes when it's the trigger information you're after (which contains the process information)? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Or this is going to feel like crawling over broken glass.

Which should raise some eyebrows, and cause you to wonder if these "triggered" queues are really triggered. And go off and check that.
Which is where you should have started. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

And also check the queue usage... a triggered queue is different from a triggered channel where the xmit queue shows trigger yes and a known initq.
You might want to the passage about triggered channels in the intercommunications manual.
