If I am publishing a message on a particular topic, and if there are no queues registered for that topic, where is the message stored internally in the Websphere Message broker? |

Which version of message broker are you using? It may not be stored in broker at all.
Why do you need to know? |

I am using WMBv6.1 and I would like to know the internal operation of Message Broker. Is there any system queue where the published message is stored? |

Moving this to the Broker forum... _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

I echo the comment of my associate and ask why. Is there a problem you're trying to fix, or is this just morbid curiosity?

Again, I concur with my associate. Depending on the exact circumstances, it may not be stored at all. In many cases it won't be. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Thanks.. even I found out that it will not be stored anywhere intrernally in Message Broker. And this was a technical question on the working of MB for some specific requirement, hence asked. |

Well it might be, it just normally isn't.

And perhaps if you'd asked how to meet your requirement rather than a very specific & technical question, you might have got some more helpful responses than "it usually isn't". _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
