Because WMQ does not have crystal balls! Think of why you have to differentiate a channel type, and if you don't know after thinking about it for a while, look in the Info Centre for DEFINE CHANNEL.

When you attempt to start a sender channel, the MCA attempts to open the transmission queue named in the channel definition. That is the (queue manager) object that it can't open.

Ah ok, it's good to know, but now i want only establish a connection with 2 QM on the same pc.

Aside from the error you get in trying to setup your channel correctly you do realize that each of your qmgrs needs to run its listener on a different port, yes?

Explained differently: If both qmgrs are in the same localhost, then you will need to have unique (port) and listener pair.

A sender channel specifies CONNAME(ipaddress(port)). At the receiving end of the channel, there needs to be a listener listening on the (port) number specified in the sender channel definition.
