Hi All,
I support a message broker V6103 running on a z/OS version 1.9, and the z/OS team will migrate the O.S. to the version z/OS v 1.11 this weekend.
My question is: Am I supposed to change any broker configuration for this migration or can I assume that broker will keep working normally with the z/OS migration to V1.11?
Should I change anything like ENVFILE, BIPCNTL, etc... or is it necessary to apply any ptf/apar?
I didn't find any documentation about this migration so I appreciate any information.
Thanks in advance. |

Presumably you are going to test the migration before doing it in production? _________________ Never let the facts get in the way of a good theory. |

Unfortunately no Fatherjack, last week we tried in dev with JAVA version 6 and didn't work, so we decided to keep the current JAVA version (5). So we go directly to prod |

you can check the broker prereqs and try to match with your z/OS 1.11 versions of the different components, however, to be sure i would ask IBM _________________ Regards, Butcher |

I'll say a special prayer in church on Sunday for you. _________________ Never let the facts get in the way of a good theory. |
