Windows platform, Broker 6.1
Is there a way to view all settings that was made over time with mqsisetdbparms?

| mqsireportbroker (came out with release 6.1.0.4, but I would suggest looking at 6.1.05 or later if you plan to upgrade) |

Actually it shows the options set with mqsichangebroker.
Not sure about mqsisetdbparms, probably have to display the file system entries.
There is also the mqsireportproperties command, but again I don't think it does quite what you want. |

On Solaris I found these settings in the filesystem. I don't remember exactly, sorry. I think it was something like
/var/mqsi/registry/<brokername>/DSN/
After DSN there are directories for every Database Alias with special settings. Perhaps you should look for this in your filesystem. Maybe on Windows the Windows Registry is used? |

Yes, as you guessed, the Windows Registry contains the information you need. However, I must stress that you are ON YOUR OWN here. I would NOT recommened that anyone, unless they are an expert starts playing around with regedit on any window system. You can do untold damage to your installation. It is far more dangerous that reading a few files on Unix/Linux.

FYI, In V7, the Windows registry is no longer used - the data is in files on disk, just like the other platforms...

There is no command to report dbparms; we do know about it  but if it's something you'd like to see, please raise a requirement to get it promoted. |
