Hi

Its not easy with IBM products, you have to un-install the whole product and install what ever that you need.

and you are trying to roll back from higher version to lower version.

Thanks and Regards

The simplest way is re-installing the CSD02, because the broker fixpaks are cumulative. I've already tried it on AIX and it worked.

Broker fixpaks are cumulative, but is it possible to apply CSD 2 on CSD >2?

How about rolling back using OS roll-back facility? Ofcourse this is possible only if you had saved copy of the old files and not yet comitted the updates.

I work on AIX and when you use SMIT to update/patch any software, it gives options to:

- back-up the existing filesets
- NOT to commit the updates/changes

This leaves an option to roll-back to the older version using the SMIT again.

mqsidude,

The main problem was the InstallShield tool, because it simply committed the fixpak at the end of installation . Otherwise, there was a special uninstaller process, but it didn't worked for me.
