I am having problem to restart qmgr which serve as broker QMGR. When I stop and start the broker, config qmgr and qmgr, and thens start, I can not start qmgr which affest to start broker and configmgr.

It gives the following error:

Quote:

Process 5524 is still running.
AMQ7018: The queue manager operation cannot be completed.

I understand what it means, but there are no any processes associated to qmgr are running. The listener is stopped and there ar not any other processes connected to it.

Questions:

how can I find process number in windows and kill it? ( equv ps -ef: grep pid in unix)

Is there any direct command to kill a process in windows?

The task manager does not display details ( pid), is there any other way to find the process and their id ( eg5524)

thanks

Furthermore, you've double-posted.

I gather you mean the queue manager problem, as your double-post is still there.

I think as long as no one posts to it, you can delete it yourself.

when you go to task list there is an option for viewing process id's. Click on the view tab and select the columns option. I think you can take it from there. Hope this helps
