Is it possible for MQ itself to get inhibit a queue? Under what situations would this happen?

Is it possible for this to happen on any other "regular" application queue.

Aside from the previously mentioned reason, I've never heard of MQ doing it....

You sometimes need to get disable a queue to avoid an infinite triggering loop.
This was added to the MQ-CICS bridges via an APAR on V6.0
