help me out here fellas.
trying to crete Broker on AIX
db2 64 bit instance.
i dont need to worry about the 64bit instance unless am using MQ V6 correct?
that is what the infocenter says.
or do i have to deinfe one when iuse a 64 bit database instance?
gettting a BIP8040E cannot connect
i can connect to the database from the db2 promt so the permissions are there. |

usr/opt/db2_08_01/lib/libdb2.a
[MYDB]
Driver=/usr/opt/db2_08_01/lib/libdb2.a
Description=BROKER DB DB2 ODBC Database
Database=MYDB
what do you guys have for the driver incase of a 64-bit instance? |

You need to configure a 64-bit ODBC data source name if you are using WebSphere MQ Version 6 and XA coordination or if you are using 64-bit execution groups.
this is from that link.
i am not using V6 MQ. i am using V6 broker does that mean i am using a 64-bit execution group?
My database is 64-bit instance. do i still need to configure a 64-bit ODBC? |
