You need to configure a 64-bit ODBC data source name if you are using WebSphere MQ Version 6 and XA coordination or if you are using 64-bit execution groups.

this is from that link.

i am not using V6 MQ. i am using V6 broker does that mean i am using a 64-bit execution group?

My database is 64-bit instance. do i still need to configure a 64-bit ODBC?

You can use 32-bit or 64-bit execution groups at least with fixpack 1.

For 64-bit DB2 hav you checked this

Quote:
If you are using a 64-bit DB2 instance, ensure that you add <DB2 instance directory>/sqllib/lib32 to the start of the library search path environment variable.
