Did you stop the MQManager?
Did you stop all the amq* runmq* processes?
Did you read any of the documentation?
We'd be happy to "felp" you but in the current WMQ5.3 Messages guide there is on AMQ4757 error code.
File are in use indicates that...
You should know what that indicates... _________________ Yes, I am an agent of Satan but my duties are largely ceremonial. |

Do a search on file in use / dll in use. This has been discussed multiple times and the solution is in one of these posts.

You could try this,
uninstall mq
Go to services, stop the Windows Management Instrumentation serice
install mq .
and csd
reboot.(after reboot the services starts automatically)
this is because when a new installation is done, windows management instrumentation takes control of the ddl files, so when you try to install csd..it says dll in use. Try it. |

That's about the worst way to solve this problem.
There are several messages that detail the better ways to solve this problem that do not include uninstalling MQ. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

May be..but we generally stop that serice before we start installation, so thought he should start over from first. Anyways i would love to see better ways of solving this. |

I would expect that he can't do the uninstall also, because he would have the same problem as what he is getting now. The files in use issue comes up again. |
