Has anybody encountered any issues in regards to "locked files or processes" when installing this CSD10 on W2K. I am getting a AMQ4757.

I have stopped all the known services such as:

- BGS-SD Service

- IBM Config Mgr

- IBM MQ Series

- Patrol Agent

- Symantec Anti Virus Client

- Version Control Agent

- Windows Management Instrumentation.

- WAS

There are no "amq*" processes running as per the task manager and there is also no "MQ" icon in the task bar in the bottom right hand corner.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Regards,

				Hi,

Try the switch MQINUSEOK=1. Sometimes that helps.

You should also check the installation log.

I have only tried to install CSD on one of my W2K boxes yesterday. It didn't work. I was letting the server stand over night, today it works.

Sometimes it helped me, disabling the service and reboot.

Sometimes, starting the installation over and over again helps.

It never worked for me when I said retry on the installer error message.

Installing a CSD on Windows is a hard Job.

hope this helps

				| I can't remember the details but when I had this problem I looked in the CSD install log (can't remember where), found which dlls were locked and used a utility called listdlls to find which processes were locking those dlls. I stopped those processes and bingo, it installed. I believe there is a thread here with the details. |

Also, try shutting down Performance Logs and Alerts. |
