They're both Turing complete, so there's nothing you can implement in one that you can't implement in another. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

by turing complete, I guess you are talking automata right...in terms of as turing machines... however, you could say that ICS allows one to integrate with apps. like SAP etc..in anon-invasive manner but WMQI/WMQ would require coding to pick the messages etc.. Am i right ? |

Those adapters (like SAP) are supposed to work with ICS and WBIMB I guess. |

ICS requires coding.
They're different products, they have different modes of operation, they have different target audiences.
And we've talked about this before. So if you are trying to do research, then you should actually research (or at least search in the first place!). _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

And if you are talking about ICS former Crossworld let me tell you that the SAP adapter was nothing but invasive. (You have to load some code in SAP to make it work). Yes it allows for better integration at a business object level, but nevertheless it is quite invasive.
I consider non invasive adapters stuff like SAP's JCO connector or Business Adapters...Stuff that is released by SAP and integrates into the product without need of further code (RFC and BAPI modules etc... are a good exemple of non invasive interfaces using SAP's JCO)
