I wish to view MQSeries queues and data on an Intel machine equipped with MQSeries client. I assume Java will be required, either for coding my own applet solution or to provide a JVM for a 3rd party GUI. Therefore I have the MA88 classes to hand.

I note previous correspondence in other postings concerning such a requirement. My question is which offering is closest in terms of look and feel to MQSeries Explorer ? We'll want to view all queues and note the number of messages on each queue.

The GUI should be for viewing queues and data; no MQObject creation or deletion or data manipulation required.

There was an MQJexplorer around (Neil Kolbans?) which I think meets those requirements, but I dont know the current state of it. (Search for 'mqjexplorer' on this site

Thank you Europe.
Give us more than null points in the next Eurovision please.

I'll try out MO71 first then maybe evaluate the shareware package.

I can see it comes highly recommended.

If you're not too worried about the MQ header then this is free http://hermesjms.sourceforge.net and works with lots of products (via JMS)

Colin.

Chris

Thanks for the link.
We are interested in the MQSeries header, but I won't look a gift horse in the mouth
