I am reading the Info Center on Validation on Input nodes.
I am using WMB 7.
In the doc it discusses the Input Message Parsing, and the Validation sections of the MQInput Node.
It appears (but does not explicitly state) that if I set the the Message Domain to "XMLNSC" and the Message Set to the appropriate Set, and then set Validate to "Content and Value", the incoming XML message will be validated from the XSD upon which the Message set was created. Is taht correct ?
Also, If I set the Message Domain to "XMLNS" without a message set defined, and then set Validate to "Content and Value", exactly how would it validate the message ?
Thanks |

This straightforward to answer yourself with the application of basic logic.
Without a message set or an XSD of some kind, what validation of an XML document is possible? |

It addition to MQJeffs comments, XMLNS is none validating anyway and so even with a message set it wouldnt do what you wanted. XMLNSC should be your choice going forward. |

Where did you look? I looked up the information on the XMLNSC parser, and immediately found that exact point stated very clearly ( seemed clear to me anyway - I guess we all read things differently) .
Maybe you were only looking at the info on the MQInput node? |
