can you see any SYSTEM objects? If not, click the little button at the top of the MQExplorer screen that displays/suppresses SYSTEM objects.

I was able to connect to server using MQ client until yesterday but today,
I am getting the following error:
AMQ4043:Queue manager not available for connection.

The QueueManager and the listener are running. I searched the site but didnt find solution yet.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Sudha

And when you looked up the meaning of AMQ4043, what did it say? Did you do what it suggested? What happened next?

Where are you seeing the error? Using MQExplorer? Or somewhere else?

Did you look at the error logs on both client and server? Any errors?

Did you tcpip ping from the client platform to the server? Was it successful?

Did you try to use one of the utilities (like amqsputc) to try to connect from client to server? Was it successful?

I am able to connect using the utility.

On the server side, I am getting the following error

08/31/2009 11:47:45 AM - Process(3910.1423) User(root) Program(amqrmppa)
AMQ9999: Channel program ended abnormally.

EXPLANATION:
Channel program 'SYSTEM.AUTO.SVRCONN' ended abnormally.
ACTION:
Look at previous error messages for channel program 'SYSTEM.AUTO.SVRCONN' in
the error files to determine the cause of the failure.

I dont know where to check the error on the client side.

Thanks
Sudha
