Now I remember why I did think that it was certainly a nice to have.
If you use these you (IMHO) significantly decrease your portability of your Message Flows. I recently had enough problems getting a WMQ Message exit to compile properly on Solaris.
Frankly, compiling & Linking .dll's & .so's are sometimes a real PITA at times.
Back on Topic.
There are many error Standard messages that way well meet your requirements. I wouldn't bother with custom ones unless there is a real show stopping requirement to do so. _________________ WMQ User since 1999
