Hrm - discint 0 eliminates my usual response.
Are there errors/messages in the logs on qmgr A?
Are you sure the channels were started when discint was set to 0?

Are you sure the channels were stopped and started after you made the change to DISCINT(0)?

I guess that was ambiguous.
I meant what Bruce2359 says - that discint must have a value of 0 when the channel started.

Vitor, yes.. channel initiator is running.
Bruce, Jefflowrey, I think I set the discint to 0 while they were inactive, stopped the queue manager and restarted it.. you think it didn´t take effect??
Wait, they´re all 0 now. Does this mean something?

Could it be that your OS kills long running inactive processes that are not declared as daemons? You'd be better off then with a triggered channel...

We changed the MCA type to 'thread' and now the channels are not falling anymore.
Just don´t know if we can leave it this way.
