Can someone please tell me the exact meaning of this property?
As far as i understand heart beat interva is the time that the sender channel waits and tries to connect other queue manager.
What happens when this time interval is over?? _________________ Regards,

No. The usage varies between message & client channels, but this interval is the separation between heartbeats over a connected channel.

Another heartbeat is sent. Unless the channel has disconnected / quiesced / gone inactive / etc in the meantime.
A fuller description of the use of the heartbeat is included with the parameter description. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Parameters are not in the Red Books, they're in the principle documentation. In this case the Command reference or it's online equivalent! _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
