Hi,

I had a strange behaviour on live server where one EG reload is happening very frequently and dumps are getting generated at /var/crash/core folder with the name DataFlowEngine.<PID>.<Timestamp>. however the broker reload stabilised the EG as of now, but don't know if problem can reappear . Need your help to get the tool information to read this file format.

PMR already raised but can't wait till IBM provide their investigation report.

IBM WMB v7.0.0.4
IBM MQ v7.0

i tried with thread dump analysis tool, but the tool throws error "cannot find any thread information", it looks like the file is not a thread dump. But when i opened the file in text pad, i can see some esql code entries many message flows there and lot of data is not readable.

Core files are not really meant to be read by anyone other than IBM support, and are almost certainly not simply a thread dump.

If a broker reload solved the problem, then it's possible that one of your flows received either a poison message or a really really really big message. Or just got into an infinite loop.

You should look at the EG log file, although it has probably been overwritten by now.

Just curious, are you still getting support from IBM for version 7 ?
