Hi,
I had a strange behaviour on live server where one EG reload is happening very frequently and dumps are getting generated at /var/crash/core folder with the name DataFlowEngine.<PID>.<Timestamp>. however the broker reload stabilised the EG as of now, but don't know if problem can reappear . Need your help to get the tool information to read this file format.
PMR already raised but can't wait till IBM provide their investigation report.

i tried with thread dump analysis tool, but the tool throws error "cannot find any thread information", it looks like the file is not a thread dump. But when i opened the file in text pad, i can see some esql code entries many message flows there and lot of data is not readable. |

Core files are not really meant to be read by anyone other than IBM support, and are almost certainly not simply a thread dump.
If a broker reload solved the problem, then it's possible that one of your flows received either a poison message or a really really really big message. Or just got into an infinite loop.
You should look at the EG log file, although it has probably been overwritten by now. _________________ chmod -R ugo-wx / |

Just curious, are you still getting support from IBM for version 7 ? |
