Kind regards

Dear Message Broker developers,

I just wanted to let you know that I have reverse engineered Message Broker (especially ESQL) and that I am providing it as open source.

It is all implemented in Java (just 6 files and 300 lines of code). And if you want to code interfaces with it you also do that in Java.

Some would argue that you violated your Message Broker License by reverse engineering the product...

Other would wonder how your product (however produced) can be demonstrated not to infringe on IBM's patents or intelectual property in the area of integration & message transformation.

Certainly if the language which looks like ESQL contains any of the IBM extensions from the published SQL standard.

But I'm a technician not a lawyer. And IBM have enough of both without me.
