We have a number of message flows that depend on translation tables for data manipulation either in eSQL or mapping nodes. Currently we handle this in the message flow, which is less than ideal because it means changing and recompiling the flow each time an external change is needed. This creates inflexibility for us because these situations require following a change management process that's really designed to support more fundamental changes than just data translation.
My primary thoughts were either a file input node or a table in a database that is read at the beginning of the message flow, but I thought I would run it by you folks to see what your experiences and thoughts were.
Any input is appreciated. |

Database table. With one of the available cacheing strategies to keep I/O down. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
