The command is: read the manual - search the Info Centre for dead-letter handling; it's all in there. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

I think the OP is looking for a tool to inspect the messages on the DLQ so that he can formulate a rule for them... something like MO71 perhaps? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Something is not working in your setup for sure !!
Have you looked into those scenarios, to figure out what could be wrong, when msgs go to DLQ (sending/receiving Qmgr) ? (Treat it as :HINTS: )
Qmgr Error Logs ?
What all you have done to find out the little clue about what messages and why they are into DLQ?

amqsbcg and WMQ Explorer are two methods of inspecting the dead-letterheader. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

MO71 is good for this. Also good for saving them to another queue or to a file, and it can remove the DLH in the process if you want to re-process the message. |
