Hi,
We are using IBM MQ 5.3 software. We decided to migrate into IBM MQ 6.0 version.
Before Migrating into MQ6.0 if I am taking the back up of /var/mqm or /var/mqm/qmgrs directory and placing the directory content after the installation of MQ 6.0, will it work fine?
I.e. all the Queue Manager and the queues will run with out any problem.
Or I need to compulsorily take the back up of the existing Queue Manager objects using the support pack.
Please explain me.
