I've installed MQ Explorer, but when I try to run it, I get the following message in the error log:
Code: |
05/01/07 09:29:21 - Process(2980.1) Program(strmqcfg.exe)
AMQ7227: WebSphere MQ encountered the following network error: The trust relationship between the primary domain and the trusted domain failed.
EXPLANATION:
MQ failed to successfully complete a network operation due to the specified error.
ACTION:
Ensure that your network is functioning correctly. |
This happens upon starting MQ Explorer...I haven't even tried to connect to MQ yet!

Sounds like either you or MQ (or both) are using a domain user id and the domain's trust relationship is broken.
Search the forum for the many discussions on this, switch to using a local user id and speak to whoever administers the domain about reestablishing trust.
Or any combination. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

For whatever reason, the user account being used to install MQExplorer could not create the mqm user group. To resolve this problem, before running MQExplorer install (on WinXP SP 2):
- Start->Settings->Control Panel->Administrative Tools
- Select Computer Management
- Expand Local Users and Groups, then right click on Groups
- Click New Group, and enter mqm
Once the group was created, then the install went find, and MQ Explorer launches now. _________________ Good...Fast...Cheap. Choose any two. |
