Hi all,
I am a 5 yr exp in JAVA/J2EE professional, I am into EAI products for the past couple of months. I just want to continue my carrier with EAI, How far this is will help me in the Carrier Aspects.
Do let me know your comments and thoughts on it

Vivek,
After the seven years that I have been involved in EAI, this is the unmistakeable maxim: integration between systems will ALWAYS be in need. However, the current trend is towards SOA and web services, rather than strictly EAI. With a J2EE background, you will be well-placed for this, I think -- focus instead on web services in J2EE. EAI itself is very gritty work -- legacy systems are usually not pretty, and they don't have nice interfaces (think green-screen rather than eclipse). this is the bulk of work that integration tackles, at least in my experience. |
