Hi,
We have an MQueue Series installation where the MQueue client is installed on an HP-Unix machine and the MQueue Server on a Windows machine. The MQueue client connects to the MQueue Server over a WAN.

We have some simple programs that read and write to the Queue's from the HP-Unix machine. The read and write operations take any where between 3 seconds to 4 minutes and at times the MQGET and MQPUT api gives the error "MQRC_CONNECTION_BROKEN".

We have some other complex programs that read and write to the MQueue server. These programs also run on HP-Unix and more often then not the MQPUT api returns "MQRC_CONNECTION_BROKEN". These programs are proC codes and do database operations.

Any idea as to why we are getting this error?

In case you're using CSD08, 09 or 10 without interim fix, check out: http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=24683, and enter the two attached links. Otherwise, search the forum for 2009 (as you should have already before posting), see what you can find.

Oh, and one does not say "MQueue" - just MQ or WMQ is fine.
