When I install MQSeries for a P2P Application, are there any default objects which I need to create before running the application? I mean like the queues and channels? Thanks.

Not unless you are attempting to perform queue manager to queue manager communications. Suggest that you post more details of what your end configuration would look like.

Kolban,
I'm actually trying to get two QueueManagers communicate. The real purpose of this is to get messages from a local queue and post messages to a remote queue. When I create a queue manager don't have to create any default object such as a Server Connection channel, model queue, default queue? I think I'm getting confused here. Can you help? Thanks.

Vin,
please see my example configuration in my other reply: http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?topic=2272&forum=12&7
Chapter 2 of the Intercommunication Guide contains a section titled "How to send a message to another queue manager" that guides you through the necessary definitions step by step. The book is a very valuable asset in building your knowledge....
