When I install MQSeries for a P2P Application, are there any default objects which I need to create before running the application? I mean like the queues and channels? Thanks. |

Not unless you are attempting to perform queue manager to queue manager communications. Suggest that you post more details of what your end configuration would look like. |

Kolban,
I'm actually trying to get two QueueManagers communicate. The real purpose of this is to get messages from a local queue and post messages to a remote queue. When I create a queue manager don't have to create any default object such as a Server Connection channel, model queue, default queue? I think I'm getting confused here. Can you help? Thanks. |

Vin,
please see my example configuration in my other reply: http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?topic=2272&forum=12&7
Chapter 2 of the Intercommunication Guide contains a section titled "How to send a message to another queue manager" that guides you through the necessary definitions step by step. The book is a very valuable asset in building your knowledge....
