You need to install the Java Messaging component of WebSphere MQ. This is an option that is available through choosing "Custom" when running the MQ installer, instead of "Standard". _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general.
I wonder what happens if Java Messaging component of WebSphere MQ is not installed. I found from my team mate that they have another machine with Msg Broker installed without the above said messaging component installed and its running fine. they have the latest WMQ CSD.
The latest CSD may or may not have installed it for them.
Certain components of the Broker product may or may not need the Java Messaging classes - but I thought that they all did.
As you have seen, the Installer won't let you install components that require the Java API if the Java API isn't installed. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general.
