Thanks for the tip.
I am trying to implement the IMS bridge with MQ v5.3 and IMS v5.
For inbound messages to IMS, I can invoke certain transactions but the acknowledgement that I receive contains the tran code, mfs followed by garbage. I need to know, what exactly should I expect from the acknowledgement.
For outbound messages I am still unable to trigger any transactions. I am not sure if it is my exit that is wrong (I copied it from the manual). Do you have any ideas?
All advice and help highly appreciated.

I think that the problem is not on the PRX/DRU IMS exits.
Most common problems with the Brigde are:
1.- Is mandatory a DEAD.QUEUE on the QMgr, if not ,the OTMA brigde will stop.
2.- Security definitions for OTMA.
3.- IIH build , remember LLZZ.
4.-Review the CSQ6SYSP macro (the OTMACON parameter)
Normally the samples IMS exits works fine if you don't have specials requeriments.
Hope this one help you.
Regards
