Hi,
I have uninstalled 5.2 on Windows2000 professional and installed WebSphere 5.3. The installation went fine. When I tried to create the QMGR using the GUI (MQ Explore) it failed with the error, AMQ8101 WebSphere error (893) had occurred. But it allowing me to create the QMGR thru command prompt and local queue too.
An FDC file is generate when it failed.....

Oct 12 is GA2 / fixpack 01 level - ancient...
r/c 5 from Reg* is a security problem trying to access registry key(s). Normally this occurs because you have over secured your machine.
1. Run amqmdain regsec, and see if the problem goes away
2. If it doesnt, use regmon from www.sysinternals.com to see what registry key you are getting access denied from, and give mqm read access to it! |
