What are the API calls behind displaying channel status, channel properties, etc (like runmqsc's display channel and display chstatus commands)? Are they exposed for use by programmers? I looked through the MQINQ section of the Programming Reference, but I only see properties for queue manager, queues, namelists, and process definitions.

Thanks,

Will

Look at the Programmable Command Formats and Administration Interface book. You send pcf commands to the command server.

You can download the sample QSTATUS.C at http://www.developer.ibm.com/isv/tech/sampmq.html

For a java interface to PCF commands, download support pac MS0B. It includes several good samples.
