I'm using MQ v6.0 and am frustrated by the absence of the API Exerciser that shipped with v5.3. I'm putting xml strings into my queues, using the message format (MQFMT_STRING). I dont see anything in the C++ API doc about being able to specify an XML format for the message payload. Is there a better way to put XML on a queue, rather than as strings? Also, how would I view/browse the xml message that I put without the Eclipse based MQ explorer truncating my data? Just for kicks, my xml string is at least 5777 chars long. |

XML data is string data, so marking it as anything else would be odd.
Have you looked at the RFHUtil included with Support Pack IH03?
Have you looked at CapitalWare's Visual Edit product? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

I've got the API Exerciser on my WMQ 6.0 install. I get at it through Getting Started or by typing amqapi from a command prompt. |

Thats weird. Clicking on "Getting started" does nothing. I'm starting to think I have a botched install. Anyways, amqapi.exe works! |

Not as weird as you think....I have two machines with WMQ 6.0 installed. One of them won't bring up the Getting Started and the other one does. I haven't figured out what is causing it yet.... |
