Hi, I'm a complete newbie to MQ Series. I am currently working on a .NET c# app for a customer. The new requirement is for this app to commuicate with their AS400/MQ Series. Currently they are running v5.1. If I understand correctly, the following is necessary:

1. Uprade the server version to v5.3 CSD05 or later (is this correct for the AS400?)

2. Install the MQSeries client on my dev box and the server that is hosting the .NET application.

Is this correct? Anything I am missing?

You need the 5.3 client CSD 06 or later really. I don't think the queue manager level matters much.
