Hello,
I have installed 2 qmgrs (v5.3) and 1 broker on the same server (W2K).
The first qmgr is connected to the broker.
How can I connect the second qmgr to the broker ? I defined all system queues in the second qmgr like in the first one but I don't know what to do to the configuration manager.
Thanks.

What have you read that makes you think you can connect one broker to two queue managers?
You can create a second broker, using mqsicreatebroker, in the exact same way you created the first. Then *that* broker will connect to the second queue manager - but not the first queue manager. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Use the toolbox of distributed messaging: remote queue, xmit queue, channel

That will only succeed in connecting the 2nd queue manager to the broker's queue manager. It will not make the necessary associations in the broker's database between the broker and the 2nd queue manager, as I believe broseo1 had hoped. |

JT,
It was the original question:

Of course, I agree with your comment , but who knows what want broseo1 to do? On the face of it there is problematic to divide the meaning of broker and qmgr...

Hello,
jefflowrey is right, I needed to create a second broker too in the Broker Administration Perspective of the toolkit, in the Domains windows under Broker Topology. The problem was that I created the queu manager at one level up.
Thanks.
