Hi,

i would like to know something about communication between queue managers in a cluster :

in a cluster with 4 queue managers, do all the computers know the ip address of all the others if it wants to send it a message ?

Are the ip addresses only used for channels creation ?

Communications in clusters is the same as communications out of clusters.

Channel definitions define what network address (regardless of protocol) is used to establish communications every time that the channel starts up.

IE, Your QM's are not going to really care about IP addresses but your channels will be totally dependent on proper IP (and Port) definitions.
