The company has more than 125,000 employees and operates in all 50 states and 25 countries and serves U.S. and international military, government and commercial customers.
We are currently looking for a WebSphere Business Integration Message Broker Developer in our New Orleans, LA office.
v Description: Provide interface/legacy integration technical solutions for a Department of Defense joint military project to ensure customer compliant requirements are met. Develop solutions to support the proof of concept for perfomance and functionality testing of the IBM Websphere Business Integration tools. Design and develop solutions to support the Interface/Legacy Integration Team's data conversion efforts. Part of a team of more than 10 WBI interface developers.
v Responsibilities: Primarily Message Broker v5.0 development of message flows and ESQL programming, meeting both large scale development, QA and Production environments.
Ø WebSphere Business Integrator (WBI)
§ Significant hands-on experience with WebSphere WBIMB (min. 1-2+ years exp.)
§ Solid understanding of the various primitive nodes and development of custom nodes
§ Ability to interpret design documentation and develop most the efficient and effective ESQL logic within the message flow
§ Experience working with reusable components (subflows)
§ Working knowledge of the MRM and XML message domains
§ Understanding of the relationship between physical and logical message models
§ Proficient in using the Control Center and message flow trace utilities and other tools to assist in message flow development. ( rfhutil, M071, traceviewer, etc.)
§ Define and manage message brokers
§ Deploy message flows (Creation of .bar files, modification of bar files for deployment to different environments)
§ Familiarity with use, configuration, and capabilities of various MQ Adapters (PeopleSoft, JText)
§ Tuning WebSphere Business Integration Server Infrastructure i.e.:
· Adapters – polling frequency and polling quantity
· Use of Multiple MQ listener Threads
§ Design/tuning of database used to hold broker business data (DB2 and Oracle)
· Placement of database table spaces
· Sizing/use of database cross-reference tables
· Placement/use of logs
§ Some familiarity with the process and concerns involved with using the PeopleSoft Component Interface with WBIMB
§ Design of Broker Domain and associated Execution Groups to level out resources for processing, facilitate recovery and minimize maintenance
§ Currently have or the ability to be processed for a US government security clearance level
Ø Additional experience not required but a plus.
§ Java programming skills
§ PeopleSoft HRMS v8.x experience
§ PeopleTools v8.4x experience
§ WBIMB performance benchmarking experience

Where is this position located?
Is it contract, or full-time?
Do you provide sponsorship for international candidates?
Do you provide relocation assistance for distance candidates?
