When trying to delete a queue via DLTMQMQ, my job gets locked and one of the AMQZLAA0 jobs is dumping. This happens on an iSeries running V5R1, with MQ V5R3.

Has anyone seen this before... is this what is described in SI07987 ?

In the log... this is the first entry....

Quote:
----- amqxfddx.c : 771 --------------------------------------------------------

AMQ9510: Messages cannot be retrieved from a queue.

EXPLANATION:

Cause . . . . . : The attempt to get messages from queue '' on queue
manager '' failed with reason code 0.
Recovery . . . : If the reason code indicates a conversion problem, for
example MQRC_SOURCE_CCSID_ERROR, remove the message(s) from the queue.
Otherwise, ensure that the required queue is available and operational.
Technical Description . . . . . . . . : None.

BTW, this was a queue that was created by accident (ie. has never been used, and did not contain any messages). The version is MQ V5R3 CSD06.[/quote]

Mmm... in the queuemanager specific log, I see

Quote:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
06/06/05 09:40:10
AMQ8608: WebSphere MQ trigger monitor connection broken.

EXPLANATION:

Cause . . . . . : The connection to the queue manager failed while the
trigger monitor was running. This may be caused by an endmqm command being
issued by another user, or by a queue manager error.
Recovery . . . : Consult your systems administrator about the state of the
queue manager.
Technical Description . . . . . . . . : None.

... which seems to indicate that the previous message are maybe/probably all from our attempt to stop MQ after we had the issue deleting the queue. Does this mean there's no FDC or message data related to the issue itself ?
