HI All,

Is it possible to force the sequence of XML elements based on message set ?

For example, i have an output message set ( XSD) and need to generate XML as an output . but however, the requirement is to generate the XML in a particular format where in the sequence of the elements in a tree have to be maintained.

I have gone through the WBIMB documentation and found out the following properties which needs to be set for achieving this ( at least that is my understanding).


For Complex type logical properties:
========================

Content Validation -->Composition -->Enumerated Type = Sequence.

Is my understanding correct and will choosing this option result in getting the elements in the XML tree in order, irrespective of the sequence of coding ?

Sorry - the answer is 'no'. The elements will be written out in whatever order you build them in the tree.

We've used the Composition type of unorderedSet to do this for Cobol-structured messages. Is it not an available option for XML messages?
